This romantic two bedroom duplex apartment is set in the picturesque neighborhood of Aix en Provence, South of France. It features tiled floors, exposed beam ceilings, a wooden staircase, and antique accessories – almost rivaling the awe-inspiring scenery just outside the door!
The luxurious two bedroom accommodation includes a balcony and DVD player. For your convenience, a laundry washer/dryer is provided. An intercom system allows easy guest entry. Additionally, a small logia (French balcony) is accessible through bedroom 2 and offers a beautiful view of the narrow street below and surrounding architecture.
The living room presents dark wood accessories, exposed beam ceilings, and tiled floors. French windows with red curtains scatter the space, allowing maximum ventilation and some natural lighting. For overnight guest accommodation, a full-sized sofa bed is available. Other furnishings include an antique dresser, small television, and various chairs. A small round dining table provides space for family meals and romantic candle-lit dinners.
An open kitchen attaches to the living room and includes most essential cooking equipment. Ample cabinet space allows you to easily store all of your items, and a window provides ventilation. Long wooden countertops make food preparation as easy as possible. For your convenience, a dishwasher is included. The white tiled bathroom includes a tub/shower.
Small stairs (3/4 steps) give access to the first bedroom of the apartment. Bedroom 1 embraces a modern ambiance, boasting a full-sized bed and contemporary wall decorations. A window looks to the street below. Accessories include a desk for convenient completion of workloads, a bedside table, and closet space.
Bedroom 2 is located on the second floor, accessible via a wooden staircase. The room includes two single-sized beds and a desk with drawers and a chair. Access to a small logia, or balcony, is available here. The balcony presents a perfect environment to relax and reflect on the day’s events.
From the middle of the stairs leading to the apartment you will have access to a small laundry room with a washing machine and a dryer.
With this central location in Aix en Provence, who needs a car? The beautiful city has all different types of shops and restaurants in the vicinity, as well as historic buildings and breathtaking nature. The area is famous for its landscapes, which became a popular subject of French artist Cezanne’s paintings. The town is near the Mediterranean Sea. The stairs were a bit daunting. 63 steps up with luggage is tough. The location is fabulous...loft bedroom a bit to dangerous due to the stairway, I would recommend for people that are fit and in shape. |
