The interior photos are from a model apartment in the building. The model apartment is representative of both the quality and style of apartments offered at this location. Description, floor plan and photos are for reference purposes only. Actual apartment's dimensions, layouts and furniture may vary.
Located in the heart of Canary Wharf, these stylish two-bedroom apartments are situated in a building complex right next to one of the canals in the Docklands area, which offers the occupants a stunning view out over the nearby water. The building also features a concierge overlooking the lobby, as well as access to a gym and a swimming pool. Parking is available at an additional fee.
Your vacation rental apartment will be fully furnished in a modern style, with a living room featuring a large TV screen with satellite TV, a DVD/VCR player and a stereo, surrounded by a convertible sofa bed. You will also have wireless Internet, useful for organizing your trips around London. The separate kitchen is conveniently organized in a modern layout, with most amenities necessary for eating-in such as a microwave, an oven and a dishwasher. Finally, the bedrooms have spacious queen and double sized beds and minimalist furniture to increase the sense of available space. The entire apartment is air-conditioned serviced to counter the sometimes unpredictable London weather. You will have a personal balcony accessible from the apartment, and the access to a washing machine and dryer will certainly prove useful during your stay.
Being on the South Quay in the Isle of Dogs, you will be right in the center of the Canary Wharf hub, one of the world's most highly specified urban areas, even sometimes called London's 'mini-Manhattan'. The apartment is only a short walk (less than half a mile) from the shops, cafes, restaurants and offices in Canary Wharf center for day-to-day activities. Nearby notable landmarks are the O2 Arena, a tube ride away, the One Canada Square (the 2nd tallest building in the UK and one of the tallest in Europe) less than half a mile away or the Billingsgate Market, within train distance for fresh fish. To get a better grasp of the area's culture, try a visit to the Museum of London Docklands (short ride) for a better knowledge of historic Canary Wharf, or to venture further into the surroundings to find the local bars around the Isle of Dogs. The Jubilee Park is a good place to relax in a green environment or for eating out, check out the Wagamama Japanese restaurant nearby.
The nearest tube station, South Quay, will be less than 200ft from the accommodation and will bring you straight to the London City neighborhood, up London's East End, or further east, in a short ride via the DLR line. Otherwise the Canary Wharf station is less than 0.4 miles away on the opposite quay, which offers access to downtown London via the London Underground and its Jubilee line.
