The apartment was in a fantastic location - within walking distance to almost everything a tourist could want to see in London - and when it was too far to walk, we were next door to an underground station.

The apartment was well appointed and security was good. The apartment block was set back from the road, so once you were inside, it was really quiet. There were so many good places to eat including the local pubs.

We were a party of two adults and two older teenage boys, so sleeping/living was a bit squeezy for the kids (we had discussed this with them before we booked and they understood the trade-off between location and space).

They weren't phased because things were so easy for them to get about independent of their parents, when it suited, which made a great holiday for all of us.
