This neighborhood is well known for its fifty-nine story high Tour du Maine, also called Tour Montparnasse, as well as for all its shops, well known restaurants, and its creperies, cafés, many cinemas, and supermarkets.

Close to the apartment are the most known streets with the best shops for the latest fashion. Not far is the Hotel des Invalides, where Napoleon Bonaparte’s tomb can be visited (from this point there is a nice view of the Eiffel Tower), and the Jardin du Luxembourg with all its green expanses, perfect for a relaxing walk.
