It is located in one of the most selected area of Paris. It is a few steps away from the Invalides area, where everything is on a monumental scale. Starting from the sprawling 18th century buildings of the Ecole Militaire, the Parc du Champs de Mars stretches down to the Eiffel Tower and the Seine. The Eiffel Tower originally built to impress visitors to the Universal Exhibition in 1889, was meant to be temporary and now is the symbol of Paris.
