Studio, 1 Bathroom - Sleeps 2

Situated in the midst of the historic neighborhood, Le Marais, this charming, furnished apartment will transport you to another time. On the 5th (6th American equivalent) story of an 18th-century walk-up building, this cozy 20m2 (215sqft) studio will make you savor your time in Paris.

Cute apartment in a great location in Le Marais just 1/2 mi from the Seine. Small space but everything you need for 1 person to live comfortably. Love all of the natural light and view of Paris rooftops.

Pictures are very, very , very deceiving. I travel a lot ...so I always keep my expectations low. Pictures hide a multitude of sins. Size did not bother me at all...I knew it would be small..but he has
a huge mildew problem and seemed dingy...not really kept up. Upper right hand corner of his wall is growing mildew. Bathroom had 2 inches of mildew behind toilet that we found a week later. The landlord was great and very attentive to everything. The couch you see is not there anymore. He now has a basic Ikea couch. Very comfortable to sleep on... so no problem.
The apt was well equipped. Location great. I am still in Paris but looking elsewhere.
I decided 990 euros was way too much for that apartment. It is not 23 sq meters...no way. My first impression when I walked in? Dissapointed...thought it looked dingy.

We had a great experience in Paris this summer. The apartment, although very small, was comfortable (fortunately it was a cool summer), clean, and well equipped (except for the 2 chairs at the dining table). The windows have a nice southern exposure, and I imagine the apartment could become quite hot if the summer was warmer than what we had.
The appliances and bathroom fixtures were fairly new and everything worked well. Being on the fifth floor with no elevator was not a problem for us, but could be for someone else. It is located in the north Marais (3rd arrondissement) which is a great area because it is near food markets and great cafes, just 2 blocks from the metro, and within walking distance to Notre Dame, the Seine, and Left Bank/Latin Quarter. The apartment building was quiet on the inside, but since the Marais is quite a lively area, their was a lot of noise from the outside, which is bearable if it is cool enough to keep the windows closed at night. Our landlord was very friendly and accommodating--except for replacing the 2 uncomfortable dining chairs.
