This fully furnished studio is located in the Latin Quarter in the 5th arrondissement of Paris. The apartment is on the 3rd French floor (4th floor in US) of a 19th century 6-story walk-up building; there is a digicode system to secure entry.
This studio features a decorative fireplace and white walls to open the space. There is a faux-wood linoleum floor, with 2.65m high ceilings. The kitchenette is open to the living room, equipped with two electric burners, a microwave oven, a small refrigerator and a stainless steel sink with utensils stored above. The living room has a 140cm wide double sofa bed, a closet for hanging clothes and shelves for storage. There is a television with a DVD player for entertainment. The bathroom faces the main door, with a shower cabin screen by glass doors, a sink and an electric toilet.
There is no laundry machine in the apartment, but there is a laundromat about 15m away from the apartment.
The windows are northeast exposed, overlooking the street below.
This apartment is located on the Rue des Patriarches, found in the Latin Quarter-Panthéon area of Paris. The rue Mouffetard, an exclusively pedestrian street and one of the oldest streets in Paris, is just a block away, combining all the village-like charms of the city, with small shops and an open air market for fresh produce, cheese and baked goods, as well as a church with a grassy garden. Just across the street from the apartment building is the Place Bernard Halpern, with benches and a fountain. The Museum of Natural History, situated on the edge of the Jardin des Plantes, the main botanical garden of France, is only about 500 meters away, easily within walking distance.
The closest metro station is Censier Daubenton (line 7), about a block away (120 meters).

The apartment is located in a lively neighborhood in the center of Paris, just a few steps away from the Metro station, making it ideal for both living and travel. The apartment itself is small and cozy, with everything one needs for a comfortable stay. I was pleasantly surprised to find a lot of small stuff I didn't expect to be provided such as hangers, culinary utensils and a bookshelf with travel and french learning books. |

I stayed at this apartment for 12 months while doing my Master's degree abroad. The studio apartment was completely equipped with everything I needed and the location is perfect. With a street full of local shops and a supermarket 1/2 a block away, I couldn't ask for a better experience living in Paris. I would highly recommend it. |

I stayed in this apartment from July to September of 2013 as I transitioned into my permanent place and I'm glad that I did. I didn't know much about the area prior to renting the apartment but discovered that location was my absolute favorite in Paris. |
