Description
2 Bedroom Apartment Rental in Montparnasse (PA-2597)
2 Bedrooms, 1 Bathroom, 1 Half Bathroom - Sleeps 3

This two bedroom furnished apartment is located on the second floor of a 4-story walk-up building on Rue Roger, between Rue Daguerre & Rue Froidevaux in the Montparnasse neighborhood of Paris’ 14th Arrondissement. This 19th century building has an intercom security system and a washing machine for your convenience.

West and east exposed, the apartment features white walls, wall-to-wall carpeting, high ceilings with exposed beams, and tall windows. The living room is furnished with a double sized sofa bed, a stylish armchair, a TV with cable access, and a stereo. There is a dining table for four in the room as well.

On the other side of the apartment is the all-white kitchen with red tile accents. Equipped with a four-burners gas stove, a traditional oven, a microwave, and a dishwasher, this kitchen also has all the kitchenware needed to prepare home-cooked meals. A large window in the room keeps it bright and sunny.

Near the Living Room, Bedroom 1 can be accessed through a corridor. Furnished with a double bed, dresser, armoire and small desk, this room has a large window that overlooks the street. At the opposite end of the two bedroom apartment is Bedroom 2. In here is a twin-sized futon bed, dresser, and a window with views of the courtyard.

Near bedroom 1 is Bathroom 1. Decorated with blue tiles, this room features a tub shower with handheld showerhead, sink with overhead mirror, and a bidet. Bathroom 2, located near Bedroom 2, is more of a water closet with sink and electric toilet. This is also where the apartment’s washing machine is located.

Please note that the floor in the living room and in the bedrooms is all fitted carpet.

The apartment is a very good size and well located. During our stay the owner upgraded the washing machine and the TV/Internet connection. This improved the quality of our stay. The owner and his support team were very responsive and helpful. It's great choice for a short or long stay (we made it our home for 9 months!)

Very effortless, owner communicated well although they were not in Paris. Generally, no complaints.

Landlord was amazing. I loved my 6 month stay here and miss the flat each day.

The location of this apartment was excellent. A close walk to Montparnasse station as well as multiple metro and RER stations. Rue Daguerre is a stones throw away, with the best foods available plus a variety of restaurants. The Saturday market at Montparnasse cemetery is also a favorite of this neighborhood and a 5 minute walk on your Saturday morning.

The landlords are very easy to deal with, and the neighbors are relatively quiet. The cleanliness of the apartment overall could have been improved, it really wasn't that clean when we moved in (could have used a dusting/carpet cleaning/etc.) and some of the features of the apartment require improvement (e.g. chipping paint/dishwasher doesn't always work properly/some of the ceiling lights didn't work).

Overall, for the price of this unit, it is enormous in Parisian standards, it was well worth the 3.5 month stay.

The apartment was OK. The cleanliness left much to be desired. A defective window was never replaced.

The owner contacted us to confirm the apartment was checked and that the windows are now in working order.
