This apartment is situated between Rue Championnet and Rue Joseph de Maistre. It is on a small, calm street close to a large, busy avenue with plenty of shops, restaurants and cafes. Opposite and not far is the famous Paris flea market known as Saint Ouen or Clignancourt, a labyrinth of antique furniture, clothing, and many other items (open from Saturday to Monday).
This 45m² (approx. 485 sq. ft.) furnished one bedroom apartment is located in a 19th century walk up building. The main entrance gate is protected by a digicode and opens into a small corridor. A second door is protected by an intercom and leads to the staircase.
The entrance opens directly to the 12m² (approx. 130 sq. ft.) bedroom. It has parquet floor, a double glazed window with curtains and a view on the courtyard. It is furnished with a double size bed, an armchair and a large built-in closet.
The 16m² (approx. 170 sq. ft.) living room has parquet floor and two double glazed windows, one with a view on the street and the other on a courtyard. It is furnished with a double size sofa bed, a coffee table, two armchairs and a console with a tv. It is also equipped with a stereo.
The open kitchen contains an oven, a microwave, 4 electric plates topped by an exhaust fan, a coffee maker and a fridge. It has a window.
There is a dining area with dining table and chairs faces the kitchen.
The tiled bathroom has a shower, a washbasin, a toilet and a window.
In the entrance there is a built in closet.
Heat and hot water use gas and are individual.
The closest metro station is Guy Moquet (line 13), which goes directly to the Saint Lazare Railway station and the Champs Elysees. It is also very close to an RER station serving a lot of points of interest in Paris.
There are four bus lines going to Notre Dame, the Arc de Triomphe, Saint Lazare and the periphery.

The owner was great... Very helpful and friendly. Everything in the apartment worked wonderfully. Overall, the apartment is very well located, near the metro, many shops/markets, and within walking distance of montmartre and the sacre coeur. The only downside is that line 13 gets very busy during rush hour. But as long as you learn how to navigate the traffic/push on to a very full car it's not an issue. I would highly recommend it... especially if you are looking for something like a 2 bedroom but a bit cheaper. We used the living room as an extra bedroom with the pullout. It was a wonderful apartment to share with a roommate since the living room had its own door and some privacy.
