Paris Apartment - Studio in Gambetta Père Lachaise, Bastille - République (PA-3810)

Perfect furnished apartment for one person. The pull down bed makes this tiny apartment feel more spacious. The mattress could probably be replaced soon due to the body divet that became noticeable even when the mattress was flipped. Bathroom should have a permanent sign that explains the delicate flush-paper-only plumbing system. Plenty of storage space. All appliances and utensils needed were provided. Wifi worked perfectly. Landlord was extremely timely in his responses and pleasant to deal with.

As far as the apartment is concerned, although small, the bed that can be pulled down from the ceiling only when needed, saves a lot of space. The apartment is very new and has no problems with humidity as most other apartments in Paris. It is also very bright during both winter and summer. There's a lot of storage space and adequately-sized cupboards along the corridor. The bathroom is somewhat small, but well-equipped (washing machine). Nice building, friendly neighbors and presence of concierge gives a sense of security/safety (always there to help). Very nice area, really small distances to tabac shop, super-markets, pharmacy and variety of restaurants and bars. 5 minutes from Voltaire and less than 10 minutes from Pere Lachaise metro stations. Safe at night. Nice park exactly outside of the building. Kind, nice and helpful landlord. Overall experience: very good to excellent - would highly recommend the apartment.
