This two bedroom furnished apartment is located on the 16th floor of a 40-story elevator building found at Square Léon Blum & Quai de Dion Bouton in the La Defense section outside downtown Paris. There is a digicode security system and in-apartment laundry facilities for your convenience. With hardwood floors throughout, this apartment has amazing views of the Seine, Eiffel Tower, and surrounding suburbs.
Enter the two bedroom apartment in the living room. In here you will find a sectional sofa, a few chairs, and a flat screen television with cable access. There is also a dining table with seating for six. Two full wall windows at one end welcome lots of natural light into the space.
Off the living room is the fully equipped kitchen. Some of the appliances you will find in here include a 4-burner electric stove, wall oven and standard size refrigerator.
Just like in all the rooms, Bedroom 1 also has a large full wall window that overlooks all of Paris. This room is furnished with a queen size bed and a small dresser upon which sits a flat screen television. Bedroom 2 is furnished with two twin beds and has a desk at one end.
The bathroom for the apartment has a tub with shower, double sinks and towel warming rack. Next to the bathroom is the WC for the apartment.
Outside the apartment find yourself conveniently located to La Defense, the end of the historical axis of Paris, better known as the “line” of monuments that trail center Paris near the Louvre out to the Grande Arche in La Defense.
Right in the same square as the apartment there are a few pharmacies and restaurants. On the surrounding streets are some bakeries, butchers, and other markets. If you are looking for a taste of Japanese food try Kawasaki on rue Jean Jaures where their noodle bowls and avocado sesame appetizer is recommended. For a classic French café try Le Saint Sert. With lots of outdoor seating, this would be the perfect place to sit outside and enjoy a croque monsieur with an espresso.
In the warmer months many Parisians head to the nearby Bois de Boulogne to take advantage of the running paths, lawns, and lakes with paddle boats or the outdoor concerts that are sometimes held there. Also within a few stops on the metro will bring you to the Champs Elyssees, Eiffel Tower, Louvre, and many other popular Paris attractions.
To ride the metro the closest station is Esplanade de la Défense (.6 mi) where you can access the 1 line to downtown L Défense or downtown Paris.
