This 30m2 calm studio is located on the first floor (second for Americans) of a 19th century walk-up building. It is protected with a security system and an intercom. It is west exposed and faces a courtyard.
The living room has two windows with curtains giving on the courtyard side, white painted walls, a beige carpet and original beams that give a typical Parisian touch to the place. It is soberly and nicely decorated with two single size sofa beds and one double size sofa bed, a coffee table with a rug, a set of shelves a chest of drawers with linens and towels. The living room is also equipped with a telephone, a cable TV and a stereo. On the other side is a dining table with its four matching chairs. The separate kitchen has a window giving on the courtyard. It is all tiled and there are beams on the ceiling too. There is a kitchen table and a stool. It is equipped with a microwave, an small oven, four electric burners, a fridge, a double stainless sink, a coffee maker and a toaster. The bathroom is all tiled. It has a tub a handhold showerhead, a sink with a medicine chest with a mirror, and WC. There is a washing machine in the apartment as wellaas a laundry just near the apartment.
A high speed internet connection is available as well as unlimited phone calls to fixed lines in France and some other countries.
Very attractive and historic area of Paris, just beside the rue Mouffetard, one of the oldest streets in the city where takes place daily the well known Mouffetard’s open air market. Many nice restaurants and cafes animate the area partly due to the proximity of the Universities. Not far from the apartment, is one of the most famous monuments, the Pantheon, originally built as a church, having become the national memorial and burial place of France’s great men. Furthermore, the green expanses and pools of the Jardin du Luxembourg soften the intense urbaneness of the area. The apartment is also located at a very short distance from the Seine River and Marais and Ile-Saint-Louis areas.
The nearest metro stations are: Jussieu (line 7)/ Cardinal Lemoine (line 10). There is also a bus 47 going to Notre-Dame and Les Halles.

From the moment we arrived in Paris and to the actual apartment location our experience was overall a great one. The apartment itself was great, very spacious, surprisingly well divided with a separate bedroom and an phenomenal and so so spacious bathroom, we just loved the shower, nothing like any other apartments were viewed or previously stayed at in Paris prior to this rip. The kitchen was well equipped and anything we needed that wasn't already there the owner Bich made a true effort to get it for us. The building is nothing less then perfect in the sense that is in the "Perfect" location ... yes, location location location. We have several bakeries right on our street, two grocery stores, a couple of evening and weekend street farmers markets and plenty of restaurants and bars just a easy walk distance from our place. I was studying at the Sorbonne next to the Pantheon, and from the apartment it was a quick 6 min walk. |
