Here are some spots that you should check out during your stay in Paris:
- Rue Mouffetard district: around the corner is one of Paris' oldest streets housing the city's liveliest market! Here you will find dozens of bakeries, cheese and pastry shops, as well as many fruit and vegetable stands.
- Panthéon (600m / .4 miles): do not miss this neoclassical-style mausoleum, resting place of noteworthy French thinkers such as Voltaire and Victor Hugo! If you look straight ahead from the plaza you will see the Luxembourg Gardens and even the Eiffel Tower.
- Sorbonne University: located 1 km (0.6 km) away, it is one of Europe's oldest universities and is lined with many cafés and restaurants. Check out Le Balzar, where famous names like Sartre and Camus used to enjoy traditional French cuisine! Walk around the Sorbonne to discover the little streets around it, with charming movie theaters and some of the best Parisians bookstores!
