This furnished apartment is situated in the heart of Montmartre on Rue Lepic, a street with a lot of diverse food shops, as well as plenty of restaurants and cafes. Very close to this accommodation is the monumental Sacre-Coeur Basilica and a few steps away is the Place des Abesses, one of Paris’ most picturesque squares. Renowned artists like Berlioz and Picasso lived and worked in this district and their unconventional lifestyle is kept alive by a number of Montmartre residents today. There is a panoramic view of Paris from the Sacred Heart Basilica promenade, and the charming Place du Tertre is a must-see.


This 27m² (approx. 290 sq. ft.) one-bedroom apartment is located on the 1st floor (2nd in the USA) of an 1890's walk up building. The main entrance gate is protected by a coded system and opens into a corridor leading to the staircase.

Upon entering the apartment, you will find the open kitchen and the living room. The bathroom is accessible from the bedroom. Both rooms have parquet floor.

The 12 m² (approx. 130 sq. ft.) living room has a double glazed window with access to a balcony and a view on the street. It is furnished with a trundle bed, a coffee table and a dining table that unfolds with matching chairs.

The open kitchen is equipped with a fridge, two electric plates, a dishwasher, a microwave, a coffee maker, a kettle and a toaster. There also is a bar.

The 10m² (approx. 107 sq. ft.) bedroom has a double glazed window with access to a balcony and a view on the street. It is furnished with a double-size bed, a bedside table, a chest of drawers and a closet with a washing machine combo dryer. There also is a cable TV and a DVD player.

The bathroom is fitted with a shower, a washbasin with a mirror and a toilet.

In the living room and the bedroom, there is A/C.

Heat and hot water are electric and individual.

For convenient travel around Paris, the nearest metro station is « Blanche » (line 2).

We were extremely happy with the apartment we rented at Rue Lepic Montmartre.

Just a few points:

wonderful location in an extremely interesting area of Paris apartment well appointed, everything we needed was there apartment very clean and comfortable owners pleasant and helpful

I am certainly recommending it to others as a way of staying in Paris that has many advantages over hotels, namely the unique experience of life in Paris as opposed to life in a hotel. It was wonderful to shop at the many delicatessens, fruiterers and boulangeries and cook our own meals (of course we also enjoyed the many restaurants).

The service from New York Habitat was prompt, efficient and helpful.
