Welcome to this chic two-bedroom, two-and-a-half-bathroom furnished apartment in the Saint-Germain-des-Prés area of Paris’s 6th Arrondissement.

On the 3rd floor (equivalent to the 4th floor in the USA) of a 6-story Haussmannian building, this furnished rental has a space of 100 m2 (around 1,000 square-feet) and sits on Rue du Four (Rue de Sèvres) and Rue du Dragon. The classic Parisian-styleapartment features a washing machine, a dryer, a balcony, and herringbone-patterned hardwood flooring. The building provides a security system. There are some stairs to access the building elevator.

The apartments central location allows you to walk to all the Olympic Games sites in Paris.

A space boasting opulent decorative molding, the living room offers sofas, a TV, a decorative fireplace, a dining area. The modern separate kitchen is equipped with an oven, a microwave, a toaster, a dishwasher, a fridge, a freezer, and access to a balcony eating area. Both the living room and kitchen provide access to this outdoor perch. The first bedroom features a king-sized bed, a decorative fireplace, and a desk/workspace and two additional single-sized bed options, found in a mezzanine. The second bedroom offers a queen-sized bed, a desk/workspace. Coming off the second bedroom is a bathroom with laundry and a bathtub with a shower head. The other bathroom, off the first bedroom, provides a bathtub and shower head and a separate toilet. 

Jardin du Luxembourg, with Luxembourg Palace, gardens, and statues, is 750 meters (around 0.5 miles) from the apartment. The famous Panthéon, Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Paris, and Sainte-Chapelle are each 1.6 km (around 1 mile) from the apartment, a perfect arrangement for a day of sightseeing. Additionally, the iconic Eiffel Tower and Champ de Mars is 3 km (around 2 miles) from the apartment. When you arein the mood for a shopping spree (or window shopping), head a few hundred meters (less than half a mile) down Rue de Sevres and the neighboring streets for fashionable stores. Bars, restaurants, and cafes are within 10 meters of the apartment.

Looking for the metro? The Sèvres-Babylone station is 200 meters (around 0.1 miles) from the apartment and offers the 10 and 12 metro lines. For the 4 line, the Saint-Sulpice metro entrance is only 100 meters from the apartment.

This apartment is in the most fabulous location in Paris! Though the one bedroom is on the street side and there is noise from city life - it is ok and really not a bother - but if you are noise sensitive it might disturb you. We kept the French doors open most nights as it was summer and we all slept well!

For our family, since we had a 2 year old baby, the thing that was most challenging was keeping him out of trouble - this is someone's home and it is lovely and I was constantly after the baby to stay out of things - so to meet our needs - less is more.

That being said the owners were amazing and super kind and most helpful - an absolute delight.

The location of this apartment is superb: Easy walk to major attractions (Seine, numerous museums, Luxemburg garden, St. Germain, etc.), close to a number of Metro stations, and a very popular cafe (with local people) right next door.

There are many upscale shops and nice restaurants / cafes around. La Bon Marche is only two blocks away. Inside is very clean, bright and comfortable.

I highly recommend it for travelers who like real Parisian experience.

We had a wonderful stay in Paris.

The apartment was in a perfect location relative to sights in the city and we were able to walk everywhere or take the metro almost right outside our door. Close proximity of grocery stores, Le Bon Marche and La Grande Epicerie were very useful.

The size of the apartment quite easily accommodated our family of five. The apartment was moderately clean when we arrived. There were some lingering odors in the apartment most likely due to pets such as cats and we used air fresheners to try to dissipate the odors for the ten days we were there.

The dryer did not work. All the other appliances were functional.

The housekeeper met us at the apartment when we arrived in Paris from Toronto and we were able to quickly access the apartment and settle in. Additional mid-week cleaning services were offered at low cost.

The balcony which was featured in the photos on the website were not accessible due to various items being stored on the balcony but we were able to open the french doors and enjoy the fresh air and the view.

I have already recommended NYHabitat to several of my friends and would certainly recommend the apartment we rented in Paris to others who are considering staying there.

Further to this review, we contacted the owner of the accommodation who has checked on the dryer, and has found that it is functioning properly. Directions on dryer use are provided on top of the machine itself. The balcony is decorated with plants and flowers; there is also a small table and 2 chairs, providing space for 2 people to use the luxury of a Paris balcony to drink coffee or win and look out onto the surrounding neighborhood.

No smokers or pets are allowed in the apartment. The owner is not sure of where exactly the odors have come from, but has assured that the smells have dissipated from the apartment.

In regards to the cleanliness of the apartment, the owner assured that the apartment is cleaned and prepared by the same cleaning personnel that has been working on the apartment for over 10 years, and has satisfied many guests.

Our experience with NY Habitat was most positive. We loved our Paris apartment and it was just as it appeared in your pictures. The location was perfect and we were able to walk most anywhere.

The only down side was the few days that the lift broke down. But it was repaired before we departed with all of our luggage.

I loved working with the agent in your Paris office. I give this experience 5 stars.
