Here are some spots we recommend you check out during your stay in this area:
- Wormwood Scrubs Park: only 0.3 miles (450 m) from your apartment is this 200 acres (80 hectares) of land boasting numerous sporting facilities and The Linford Christie Stadium home to soccer and Hockey Clubs.
- Notting hill: located only about a mile away (1.6 km), this world famous area of London has a lot to offer! Most well-known for its Portobello Market, the Notting Hill carnival, its famous colorful houses and of course the film starring Hugh Grant and Julia Roberts, Notting Hill offers a unique atmosphere. From its cafés and restaurants, pubs and bars to its many markets, boutique stores and cinemas, there is something for everyone!
- Paddington Branch of the Grand Union Canal: half-a-mile away (800 m) is this canal, a great place to go for a relaxing walk or bike ride. Simply follow the peaceful corridor and enjoy the tranquility of the waterways that will make you feel like you’re so far away from the city!
- Little Venice: keep walking east along the canal until you reach the intersection with the Regent’s Canal. At this junction lies Little Venice, a picturesque pool of water home to plenty of cafés, pubs and restaurants.
For public transportation, take the Hammersmith and City line at the Ladbroke Road tube station. It runs through the city center and offers many connections with other tube lines making commuting around London very easy!

Unfortunately we have found ALL the apartment (which is not really up to date...) very, very DIRTY. In particular the sofas in the living room are also heavily SMELLY and so we have avoided to stay in that room and to live properly all the flat, so making senseless the choice of an apartment in London. |

We are sorry to hear about your negative comments. The property is habited by a family and we did ensure the cleaning was up to standard. We paid for a professional company to clean the flat before you moved in and I also asked someone to ensure the work was done properly. Upon my return, I did see that the cleaners left a few stains and they have now been taken care of. I have called another professional company to clean the sofa and they did not detect any smell. When we arrived to inspect the property, I noticed that the dishwasher had become blocked, which might have caused some sort of smell, but that is being fixed. I apologize if you did not enjoy staying In Clement House and we are very disappointed to hear about the negative feedback. |
