Even though the flat was not near the Olympic Games, and or Olympic Village, it was easy to access public transportation from the flat (5-10 minute walk).
Aug 06 2012The Flat was very clean, comfortable and accommodated 6 adults very well. We would recommend this facilities to any of our friends if they were to going to London!

Aug 09 2012Overall satisfactory. Cleanliness OK but maintenance insufficient: for example: in one of the bathrooms 4 light bulbs out of 6 were defective. No sheets for the sofa beds. Some window do not shut properly and the wind comes through (luckily the temperatures outdoors were still fine this autumn). In the kitchen, no chopping board, no spatula (already mentioned several months ago by another client on the owner's website!) Very low shower pressure. Sewer smell in one of the bedrooms. But on the whole we are satisfied because of the space and the good location with shops and public transports close by. The email communication with the owners was pleasant and efficient (except for a mistake in our arrival time). The taxi service from the airport that the owners offered was convenient and a good price. The security deposit was returned promptly.

The owners contacted us to explain that there were no sheets provided for the sofa bed as there were 5 clients staying and the accommodation provides 6 beds. As the building is old some of the windows at the rear can permit a draft and the water pressure can also drop at times (communal water), but still functions effectively. The smell in the bedroom would have been from the bathroom's macerator system that was blocked. The owners resolved the problem during the rental and there are instructions for clients about it. Finally the owners added that they will provide a chopping board and a spatula for the kitchen.
Dec 22 2011There were eight of us but we never felt cramped:i.e. comfortably spacious. Well equipped kitchen;luxurious bathtubs; very much appreciated washer and dryer and dishwasher. Some minor negatives: sharper knives would have been helpful, also: a cutting board and some plastic spoons and spatulas to protect the cooking surfaces.Agent BRENDA WAS VERY HELPFUL. IN SHORT: A GREAT EXPERIENCE.
Jul 21 2011We enjoyed our stay at Mandeville Court, it was a lovely apartment and great value for money. It was a shame our stay was spoiled with a blocked toilet for 3 days. Before it was fixed my sister had to spend 3 days in the living room. [...] We will be staying again in London in December 2011 and we would like to stay in the apartment or a like apartment again.

Further to this review, we contacted the owner of this vacation rental who confirmed that the incident occurred over a weekend and a plumber arrived Monday morning.
