Large share apartment in the Upper West Side with a garden

This large duplex apartment, which has a private garden in the back, is available to share. The upper level is shared except the bedroom (Bedroom #2) and the lower level is private for the person who rents Bedroom #1. The large living room on the lower floor is furnished with a futon, a 40" HDTV and DVD player and a small fridge. There is also a dining table and toaster. Bedroom #1 is small and has a queen bed. There is a nightstand and a window, which is below ground but views through a grate to the back yard. Bedroom #2 is larger and is on the main floor. There is a queen bed, a nightstand and a window. There is a half bathroom available downstairs which has a w/c and a sink. On the main floor, there is large living room, which is furnished with a sofa set, a dining table with four chairs and a decorative fireplace. There is a second living room area that has a futon and faces out to the back garden. There is a large sliding door that lets in fresh air and light. Please note that this second living room leading to the garden may not always be accessible, as it is sometimes used as a bedroom. When in use as a bedroom, access of others to the garden is limited. The kitchen is connected to the living room and is stocked with the basics including a coffee machine, toaster and microwave. There is also a dishwasher. All the basic plates, utensils, pots and pans are provided. The bathroom upstairs has a w/c, tub/shower and sink with vanity. The back garden has several nice plantings and there is a large table for 6 and a BBQ grill. The location is quite convenient. The 1,2,3,B,C trains are all within a few minute walk from the apartment, there is plenty of shopping on Broadway and many restaurants on Amsterdam and Columbus Avenues. Also, Central Park is a just a few blocks away. Please note that the heating system is radiator steam replete with occasional loud clanging when in use during the cold season PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A NO-SMOKING APARTMENT.
