One bedroom apartment with garden access close to Columbia University
|
This one bedroom apartment is located on the lower level of a historic Harlem townhouse.
The apartment is at the back of the building so it has direct access to the garden which has plantings and a brick patio area. An outdoor table and chairs can be provided.
The living room is spacious and open to the kitchen. It has a sofa, single sized bed, dining table for four people and a TV cabinet (although no TV is provided in this room).
The bedroom includes a full sized bed, dresser and closet. There is a TV with cable access.
The kitchen is basic but new. There is a stove, refrigerator and sink. All of the basic kitchen equipment is provided.
The bathroom includes a tub/shower, w/c and sink.
The building is located in central Harlem in an area of great renewal. The block features historic townhouses with verandas out-front of each. The city has made this block a landmark preservation block.
The closest subways are the 2,3 trains at 125th Street. There is plenty of cross-town bus service on 125th Street including the M60 which goes from Columbia University to La Guardia Airport via 125th Street. Right on the corner there is a 5th Avenue bus, which runs downtown.
