Welcome to Chelsea, Manhattan! You will find a charming two bedroom apartment at the cross of West 20th Street and 10th Avenue, located on the 3rd floor of a 4-story townhouse walk-up building secured by an intercom.
Upon entering the apartment, you will arrive in the living room which has wall-to-wall hardwood floors, a decorative fireplace, a sofa and chairs, large windows to allow natural light to shine through the living room. The kitchen is open and separated by an island with two bar stools. It is also fully equipped with a dishwasher, an oven, a toaster and a fridge. Bedroom 1 has a king sized bed, a closet for storage space, a brick accent wall. Bedroom 2 has a double sized murphy bed and access to the terrace. The bathroom has a bathtub, a sink and a toilet.
This apartment is located in Chelsea, a tree-lined street just a couple blocks away from the Hudson River. You will be able to enjoy strolls alongside the river on the Hudson River Greenway, or view Manhattan's westside from the path on the High Line Elevated Path, a former railroad line. Beyond the park, you will find the Hudson River and the famous Chelsea Piers Sports Complex where there are health and fitness facilities (pool, gym, rock climbing, etc.) roller blading, two ice skating rinks, bowling alley, driving range and a wide variety of children's programs. You will find many restaurants to try and boutiques to explore! Chelsea is also known as one of the centers of the city's art world, with more than 200 galleries.
Public transportation is convenient with the 1/C/E subway station on 23rd Street, which will take you minutes to go to other NYC neighborhoods such as Meatpacking District, Union Square and Nomad. Down the Street, Madison Square Park (0.5mi/800m) features sculptures and view of the Flatiron Building.

This unit was an absolutely amazing place to stay as we moved to NYC and got our feet on the ground. It's in a beautiful brownstone building on a quiet, tree-lined street in one of the best parts of Chelsea. It's close to great shopping, tourist attractions (High Line, Chelsea Piers, etc.), and within a 5 minute walk of dozens of incredible restaurants. The unit came very well furnished, and the included dishwasher, washer and dryer, AC, and outdoor space made it extremely comfortable. I honestly don't think there is anything that could have been improved. |
