The apartment is a very nice, bright and spacious 1bedroom. It has an area of approximately 600 square feet and is on the 5th floor of a high-rise building, equipped with an elevator, a full-time doorman, and laundry facilities. This spacious rental has parquet floors and modern furniture.
The living room is furnished with a sofas with a glass coffee table. There is also a square dining table with 4 matching chairs, cable TV, an air-conditioner and a telephone. The bedroom has a large window and is furnished with a queen size bed with a bedside table with a lamp and a telephone, and the room has also an air conditioner and closets.
To the left is a separate kitchen, fully equipped with a refrigerator/ freezer, a gas cooking range, a microwave, a dishwasher, a coffee maker and a toaster, There are also wooden cupboards. Dishes, cutlery, and pots and pans are provided. The bathroom is standard with white tiled walls, a mirror on top of the sink, a bathtub, and shower. Towels are provided.
The apartment is located in the heart of the United Nations. The Midtown East Side still remains much sought after area. There are fantastic antique shops, wonderful restaurants and nightclubs, boutiques, specialty stores, museums and art galleries.
Transportation: Take the 4, 5, and 6 trains to 42nd Street Grand Central on Lexington Avenue.
