WiFi internet and air conditioning are also available. The living room, kitchen and bathroom are shared with the roommates. The living area is furnished with a sectional sofa, and cable TV. Separate from the living room to allow you to cook in privacy, the kitchen is equipped with all the basic amenities, as well as a microwave, toaster and coffee maker, and also has the convenience of a washing machine. The bathroom is tiled and features a shower/tub and a window for air circulation.

Located at one of the highest point in Manhattan, the views of the lower Hudson Valley and New Jersey Palisades are considered to be the city's most spectacular! In addition the park hosts the Cloisters museum & gardens, a branch of the Metropolitan Museum devoted to the art and architecture of medieval Europe, and houses the Zagat rated New Leaf Restaurant and Bar, voted "Upper Manhattan's Most Romantic Restaurant." A few blocks north, Inwood Hill Park has several children's playgrounds, baseball and soccer fields, tennis and basketball courts, and contains the last natural forest in Manhattan! Commuting to the rest of New York City is very easy from this three bedroom apartment. Catch the 1 train at the 181 Street / Saint Nicholas Avenue subway station or walk a little further to the 181 Street / Fort Washington Avenue station for the express A line. The latter will take you to Midtown Manhattan in as few as 5 stops! These two trains run downtown Manhattan pass the Upper West Side, Times Square, Chelsea, all the way to Brooklyn!

Roommate is kind and not intrusive, she even gave me food fairly often. If there was a problem, she would either do what she could to fix it or get help for the problem. The apartment is very near the subway. However, the neighborhood is almost exclusively Spanish-speaking, I wasn't able to find a job during my stay, as I don't speak Spanish. |

My experience in the room was fair, no major sway negatively or positively. The neighborhood has life but is not obnoxiously loud, and most of the people in the area were helpful and polite. |
