Honestly, the neighborhood was great. The subway was in front of the building. Accommodation: very good impression. It was all awesome. It was bit noisy but I think it's normal.

The bathroom was a bit small for five people but we made do with it.

Thank you for taking the time to post your feedback Sophie. I'm glad to hear that you were happy with the neighborhood and that you have an overall good impression of our property. As we're centrally located in a very busy part of town, we do offer earplugs to help keep out the outside noise.
Mar 20 2013Unfortunately, at this time there is not a plan to change the size of our bathrooms but I'm happy to know that you thought our staff was great.
Excellent location, a ten minute walk from Times Square.
Aug 19 2012Great reception desk, condominium style atmosphere.
A few conveniences are lacking (swimming pool, breakfast service), given the price, we could have expected these.
Negative: the apartment is advertized with three beds but had only two (one bedroom and the sitting room with no bed), there was an extra bed but it wasn't very comfortable nor did it match New York Habitat's description.

As it turns out, you were upgraded from a One bedroom Suite to a One Bedroom Deluxe Suite upon arrival ; while the majority of our suites do have pull out sofa beds this was the rare occasion that the room did not have one.

We hoped that the roll away bed would suffice and will make every effort in the future to ensure expectations are met. We do hope to welcome you back
the appartment had a kitchen but not place to have breakfast / dinner. It was a little bit ennoying as the idea to rent an appartment was to be able to have at least breakfast in it.
Aug 07 2012When we arrive we did not have a sofa bed (we are 5) but the Hotel manage to bring us an extra bed very quickly.

Thank you for your review. I'm sorry that your Deluxe Suite did not have a dining room table, due to layout and space restrictions not all of our One Bedroom Suites come equipped with a dining room table.

Unfortunately, it wasn't an apartment as described by NY Habitat but a hotel.

I could also have found that for a cheaper price.

Jul 24 2012New York Habitat always strives to improve its services and will therefore revise the statements in our description about it a "building with hotel-like amenities which combine the advantages of a private apartment and the advantages of a hotel" to help clarify further if need be.
New York State regulations prohibit rentals in regular apartment buildings for less than 30 days, thus limiting the inventory of apartments offering a 'live-like-a-New-Yorker' feel.
However, New York Habitat lists rentals in compliance with the law and negotiates preferred prices with the owners to offer the best value to our clients.
We were surprised that this apartment was really an all suite hotel. We were a little disappointed by this because we wanted the 'experience' of a NY apartment. It was pretty easy to get over this because the accommodations were beautiful.
Apr 02 2012We had a leak in the ceiling of our bathroom (which gave a little of the NY experience!). The hotel changed our room the next morning and credited a portion of our stay- which was more than generous. The service was very good. We did not eat in their restaurant. The concierge made some good recommendations on restaurants.
Great location for access to almost all parts of NYC by subway.
Would definitely stay there again.

Very nice Stay from May 20 through May 27, 2011. I highly recommend this vacation rental - Stylish accommodation! extremely good location right in the heart of Manhattan - a good pair of sneakers and everything is at your feet!
