Refurbished two bedroom apartment in the Bastille area

Located between Rue de l'Arsenal and Boulevard Morland, this newly refurbished 96m² spacious two bedroom apartment is between the place de la Bastille and the Seine River. The area has numerous cafes, restaurants, and other services. The heart of this area is the historic Place de la Bastille and its new Opéra House considered as one of the best Operas in the world, inaugurated at the 200th anniversary of the French Revolution. After a ten minute walk is Place des Vosges, known for its art galleries, antique shops and also for the famous French novelist Victor Hugo's residence at 6, Place des Vosges from 1832 to 1848. It is still possible to visit his apartment and the room where he wrote his novels (especially Les Misérables). In the neighborhood there are number of traditional restaurants, cafes, and open-air markets such as the one on Place d'Aligre, to be visited, and a second one on Rue Richard Lenoir. All other sorts of services are easily found in the whole neighborhood. The apartment is situated on the first floor of a 20th century well-maintained 7 story elevator building. The main entrance gate is protected by a security system and an intercom. The apartment faces a charming private garden, which is very well kept (eastern exposure) and the street (western exposure), it has painted walls and double-glazing everywhere. The entry door opens on a large living room (dining room and resting room). The kitchen and a separate laundry room are in front. From the living room is the access to a bathroom and a corridor leading to a bedroom, a separate toilet and a second bedroom with its en suite shower room. The 38m² living room has wooden floor, a window and a french door, which have electric rolling shutters and faces the garden. It is furnished with a dining table, two 140-cm wide sofa beds, two coffee tables, a built-in wall closet, a cable-TV, a VCR, a stereo and a phone. The 16m² bedroom has a window with electric rolling shutters facing the street and wooden floor. It is furnished with a two single size bed with electric pull-up system, a built-in wall closet, shelves and a phone jack. The en suite shower room is tiled. It has a washbasin surmounted by a mirror, a toilet and a shower cabin. The 20m² second bedroom has a window with electric rolling shutters facing the street and wooden floor. It is decorated with a 160 wide bed which can be separated into two single bed (80cm each). a built-in wall closet, sets of built-in wall shelves and a phone jack. The tiled separate bathroom has a washbasin surmounted by a mirror and a bathtub with a wall-mounted showerhead. The tiled separate kitchen has a window with manual shutters facing the garden. It is equipped with two gas burners and two electric hotplates, an electric oven, a microwave, a cooker hood, a fridge, a freezer (combo), a dishwasher, a double stainless-steel sink, and a coffee maker. The laundry room is equipped with a washing machine, a separate dryer and a rubbish chute. Heating and water heater are collective with the building. The nearest metro stations is Sully-Morland Line 7.
