Cosy one bedroom apartment in the Saint Michel area
|
Comfortable and quiet 56m2 one bedroom apartment situated on the famous Place St. André Des Arts in the heart of St. Michel neighborhood, between the Boulevard and the Quai Saint Michel.
Though being placed in the heart of the Latin Quarter at only a few meters from the Seine river and the Notre-Dame Cathedral, this 51m2 apartment is very quiet thanks to a good isolation and its exposure on a calm courtyard.
You will then have the advantage of being in the so famous intellectual and dynamic core of Paris but having the calm and comfort in the apartment itself.
Intellectual core of Paris the Quartier Latin abounds of historical points of interest such as the Sainte Chapelle, in the Law Courts, build under Saint Louis from 1241 to 1248, Cluny's Thermae (from the 3rd century) Hotel (from the 15th century) and Museum (from the19th century), among others. In addition the Seine River, Notre Dame Cathedral, and the Boulevard Saint Germain are in a very short walking distance and, a block and a half away, is the Sorbonne University. A large variety of nice shops, celebrated restaurants and cafes, and cinemas, as well as basic services such as supermarkets are found all around this neighborhood.
This one-bedroom apartment is located on the first floor of an 18th century walk-up building having a security system and an intercom. Entirely refurbished, having off-white walls tiled floor, rugs, and windows facing a calm courtyard with a southwest exposure, and enough bedding for 4 people.
The apartment is divided as follows: when you enter it is a small entry hall with a closet and a separate toilet with a window and a washbasin. Facing the entry hall is a separate and fully equipped kitchen. On the right hand-side of the entry hall is a 28m2 living and dining room. The 12m2 bedroom and private bathroom are on the right hand-side of the living room.
The living room has two windows facing the courtyard and is tastefully decorated with a sofa bed (140 wide), a matching armchair, a coffee table and a rug, a TV with cable, stereo, telephone and a wooden dining table and its chairs as well as an English wooden piece of furniture as well as other decorative items. Two fans are available.
The bedroom has a window viewing the courtyard and is furnished with two single beds (90 wide), which can be put together to form a queen size bed, two bedside tables with lamps, a desk and a chair and a telephone.
The kitchen is separate, tiled and has a window. It is fully equipped with a microwave, an electric oven, four gas burners, a dishwasher, a fridge and freezer (combo), a sink, a washing machine and dryer (combo), a coffee maker and a toaster.
The bathroom is entirely tiled and fitted with a tub with a hand-held showerhead and a separate shower, a washbasin surmounted by a mirror and a small dressing room.
Internet access available in this apartment.
In addition to the several bus lines serving almost all the city, the closest metro stations is Saint Michel (line 4 and the RER B & C).
