Located between Rue du Pot de Fer and Rue Mouffetard, this spacious and calm one bedroom apartment is in the heart of the 5th area of Paris, very youthful and friendly. The apartment is located a few steps away from the Pantheon, Notre Dame and the attractive Place de la Contrescarpe as well as the well known Rue Mouffetard with its open market, cafes, restaurants. Not very far are the famous Jardins du Luxembourg. This 40 m2 one bedroom apartment is situated on the ground floor of a 18th century building, with a nice view over a small courtyard to be shared with two other apartments. The main entrance is protected by a security system and to access the apartment there is a private door closed with a key. The apartment has an Eastern exposure and faces the garden. There is wooden floor everywhere except in the bathroom, which is tiled. There are beams on the ceiling and antic stones on some parts of the walls. The entry door, which is a French window, opens on the bedroom, followed by the bathroom. One step can access the living room with the open kitchen and the dining corner. The living room is equipped with a sofa, two armchairs, a coffee table, a TV with a DVD player, bookshelves, a halogen, and a dining table with four matching chairs. It has a window with interior shutters. The 20m2 bedroom is equipped with a double size bed with a bedside table and a reading lamp, a sofa, bookshelves, and a desk. The open kitchen is very well equipped with a microwave, an electric oven, a vitroceramic burner, a coffee maker, a combo fridge/freezer, and a toaster. There is a combo washer/dryer. The bathroom has a bathtub with a wall-mounted showerhead, a washbasin surmounted by a mirror and the toilet. There is a dressing room. The apartment opens on a semi-private garden (to share with only one neighbor). The nearest metro station are Place Monge (line 7) Cardinal lemoine (line 10) and Luxembourg (RER B).
