A contemporary decorated loft in the old atmosphere of Paris
Apartment in the historic district of Le Marais between Rue de Renard and Rue des Archives.

This 60m2 one bedroom apartment is located on the third French floor of a building from the 19th century, facing northeast and having an elevator and a security code system. The apartment can accommodate three persons.

The layout is as follows: main entry hall gives view of entire apartment, to the left is the study/bedroom followed by the living room. The kitchen is to the right off the study/bedroom. The bathroom is off the living room to the right side. The décor is a mixture of French & Asian antiques.

The spacious 25m2 livingroom is furnished with a double sofa bed, an empire bed, a directoire chest of drawers with two silver lamps on either side of a sunburst mirror above, a working marble fireplace with two brass antique lamps on either side and mirror above. There are two area carpets, four chinese nesting tables, a coffee table, and an additional round table with large lamp. There are four antique chairs. The bookshelves hold a portable radio/CD/cassette player, boardgames, and other decorative items. There are two televisions and a VCR. The walls are off white, ceiling molding, parquet wooden floors. There are two French windows, double-glazed for silence, which overlook the street. They have off-white curtains with black and gold tie-backs.

The 13m2 study/bedroom is furnished with a single bed, an Italian ceramic fireplace with mirror above it, green metal book case, one floor lamp, an oval glass table which can sit four (with chairs), bookshelves containing a phone/answering machine and lamp. The walls are a periwinkle blue color, ceiling molding, decorative tiled floor and there are two windows with fabric blinds overlooking the courtyard.

The separate kitchen is equipped with a gas stove 3-burners with oven, a refrigerator/freezer, a stainless steel sink, a dishwasher, a washer/dryer machine and cabinets containing kitchen utensils. The walls are off white with partial tiles over the counter, brick tiled floor and there is a window overlooking the courtyard.

The bathroom has a bathtub with manual showerhead protected by plastic curtain, a sink with a mirrored medicine cabinet, a heated towel rack. There is a spacious walk-in closet with ample shelving. One wall is mirrored and the remaining walls are partial pale orange color and the floor is tiled.

The separate restroom has a toilet; the walls are done in an orange color and tiled floor.

A housekeeper (speaking english) is mandatory 3 hours per week and 3 hours for thorough cleaning at the end of the stay

Live and historical area the Marais has a particular atmosphere also due to its pre-Revolution architecture, enclosing a substantial number of points of interest such as museums, art galleries, design shops, as well as diverse types of trendy bars and restaurants. Also in this area is the royal Place des Vosges famous and hailed for the harmony of its architecture, where, at number 6 lived the world famous French novelist Victor Hugo. The apartment is located right in the heart of the Marais surrounded by all sorts of essential shops and services in the area.
