Very close to Paris Townhouse and the Georges Pompidou Cultural Center, also known as Beaubourg, this street is in a short walking distance to the Les Halles Mall, which means within walking distance to the Louvre Museum and its adjoining Royal Tuileries Garden. It is also close to the Seine River with its unique islands - Ile de la Cite, the Notre Dame Cathedral, and the delightful Ile Saint Louis a must see. In addition to the French traditional and international restaurants and cafes, all sorts of conveniences are easily found in the neighborhood. This 52 m² (approx 560 sq.ft.) one bedroom apartment is located on the 6th floor of a 19th century building equipped with a coded system, an intercom and an elevator. Southwest and northeast exposed, it has 2,57m high ceilings, a parquet floor in the living room and wall- to-wall carpet in the bedroom and on the mezzanine. At first there is tiny hall, where is the telephone, leading to the facing living room and open kitchen, and to the bedroom and contiguous bathroom placed to the right side. A flight of narrow open stairs (no handrails) climb to the office room set on the attic mezzanine. The 28m² (approx. 300 sq.ft.) living room has 2 double glazed windows. It is furnished with a leather sofa, two leather armchairs facing a coffee table, a large built in closet, a dining table with four matching chairs, as well as bookshelves and lamps. The open kitchen space faces the dining table. It is equipped with four electric burners, a traditional electric oven, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle and a dishwasher. Furthermore there is a ceramic sink fitted on the practical worktop. Above and below it, there are cupboards and drawers containing the utensils. In the 8m² (approx 85 sq.ft.) bedroom there is a 140cm wide double bed with a bedside lamp, a built in closet, wall bookshelves and a double glazed window screened by curtains and overlooking a courtyard. Adjoining the bedroom, the bathroom encloses a bathtub with showerhead protected by a glass screen, a washbasin with a large mirror above, and recessed shelf below, a washing machine combo dryer and a toilet. The 6m² office space has ceilings, which are 1.43m high at the lowest point and 1.63m at the highest point. There is a single mattress set down on a platform facing a cable TV, a low foldout armchair, a desk and two chairs and a skylight. The closest metro stations are Rambuteau (line 11), Hotel de Ville (lines 1, 11), and Saint Paul (line 1).
