Neighborhood:
One of the most honored French monuments, the Hotel Royal des Invalides is a masterpiece of 17th century architecture, housing the Army Museum, the Contemporary History Museum, the Libération Association Museum, and the Museum of the Plan-Reliefs. It is also close to the Eiffel Tower, facing the Champ de Mars with its beautiful floral gardens, to the Seine River, and to Trocadero Place. The neighborhood offers elegant fashion boutiques and convenience shops; there are also a number of fine restaurants and cafes.
Premises:
This 48m˛ (approx. 515 sq. ft.) one-bedroom duplex apartment is located on the ground floor of a recently constructed building. The entrance gate is protected by a coded security system at night and a concierge during the day. The gate opens onto a courtyard, which leads to a flight of stairs and then to the apartment's entrance. The apartment faces the courtyard with an eastern exposure and is equipped with a Wi-Fi Internet connection.
Layout:
The entrance door opens directly into the living room and an open kitchen. Straight ahead a staircase leads to the bedroom, the bathroom and the separate toilet.
The 24m˛ (approx. 250 sq. ft.) living room has a double-glaze bay window facing the courtyard. It is decorated with modern paintings and furnished with two sofas, a bookshelf, a coffee table, a TV, DVD player and satellite with international channels.
The open kitchen is equipped with two vitro-ceramic burners, a combo electric oven/dishwasher, a washing machine and a toaster. There is also a glass round dining table with matching chairs and a built-in closet with mirrored sliding doors.
The entrance door opens onto the courtyard, which contains a round table and some plants.
The 18m˛ (approx. 190 sq. ft.) upstairs bedroom has a window overlooking the courtyard and is furnished with a double bed, a chest of drawers, a closet, lamps, a desk, a computer connected to the Internet, Wi-Fi and a phone/fax.
The bathroom is tiled and has a bathtub with a showerhead, a washbasin and a bidet.
The separate toilet has a small washbasin.
The hallway leading to the staircase has a built-in closet.
The nearest metro station is Tour Maubourg (line 8).
Heat and hot water are electric and individually metered.
