Three bedroom apartment in the Quartier Latin
|
Excellent location in the Quartier Latin situated between rue de la Montagne Sainte Genevieve and rue des Carmes.
In the Quartier Latin area, more precisely in the Pantheon neighborhood, offering many options concerning all sorts of shops, varied restaurants, and all conveniences such as the renowned Mouffetard open air market, this mostly residential street neighbors the Seine River with its traditional booksellers and full of charm islands - Isle Saint Louis and Ile de la Cité, being also in a short distance to the splendid Luxembourg Garden and to the selected and sophisticated Saint Germain des Prés district with its elegant latest fashion shops, famous restaurants, cafes, pubs, number of cinemas, and the claimed Buci market.
Facing the street and the courtyard this agreeable 100m2 two-bedroom apartment is located on the 5th floor of a 19th century building equipped with a security system, an intercom, and a narrow elevator. East, northeast, and south exposed, it has pastel colored walls, tiled and parquet floor, and 2,50m high ceiling.
In the corridor there is a cabinet, wall mirror and paintings, and ceiling built in spotlights.
To the right side, the pleasant 31m2 living room has two French windows ornate with transparent curtains giving access to the balcony, and one window protected by outside rolling blinds, all overlooking the street. It is furnished with a 140cm wide double sofa bed (barely comfortable when open, two antique armchairs, a rectangular coffee table, recessed cabinets and bookshelves, a decorative fireplace, a stereo, and a telephone.
Set behind a counter and genuine vertical beams, the kitchen is equipped with two vitro ceramic burners, a multifunction oven, a fridge, a freezer, electric coffee maker and kettle, and a toaster. Besides there is a stainless steel sink fit on the L-shaped worktop, and all necessary utensils put away in the numerous cupboards.
All bedrooms have a window garnished with curtains looking out onto the courtyard. The 9.50m2 master's bedroom has orange sponge painted walls, and a parquet floor. It is fitted out with a 140cm wide double bed with a bedside table and lamp, an oriental antique cabinet, a TV, and wall paintings.
With double access, through the living room and through the bedroom, the first guests' bedroom has yellow walls and a wall-to-wall carpet, fitted out with a 140cm wide double sofa bed, a recessed closet, two leather poufs, and an area rug.
Light blue wallpaper and beige wall-to-wall carpet decorates the 9m2 guest's bedroom having a 0,80m wide single bed, a bedside table and lamp, and a built in closet.
With an access through the master's bedroom and through the corridor the first bathroom encloses ceiling built in spotlights, a nice tiled shower cabin screened by a glass door, an off white ceramic washbasin with a large mirror and above and a cabinet below, a washing machine, wall cabinets and shelves, and toilet.
The second bathroom is private to the master's bedroom, all blue tiled and painted, including an open shower and a toilet.
The closest metro stations are Maubert Mutualité (line 10) and Cardinal Lemoine (line 10).
