A one bedroom apartment near the Pompidou center
|
Close from the famous Georges Pompidou Cultural Center and the Les Halles Mall, this apartment is at a 10 minute walking distance to the Louvre Museum and adjoining Royal Tuileries Garden, as well as to the Seine River with its unique islands - Ile de la Cite, Notre Dame Cathedral, and the delightful Ile Saint Louis - a must to see. In addition to the French traditional and international restaurants and cafes, all sorts of facilities are easily found in the neighborhood.
This one bedroom is located on the 1rst French floor of an old, but well maintained building with an intercom and digicode security system. The building's entrance door gives an access to a hallway that leads to a small courtyard. From there, an old staircase goes up to the apartment.
The layout is as followed. The entrance door opens on a small hall, which leads, to the left to the bedroom and straight ahead to a hallway. This hallway goes straight ahead to the living room, and on the left side, to the kitchen as well as the bathroom.
The bedroom has beige velvet carpeted walls and a brown tiled floor. It is furnished with a queen size bed and a large built-in closet. There are also some antique furniture, an old cabinet and a chair. The window has pastel colorful curtains and overlooks the courtyard.
The living room has beige velvet carpeted walls and old fashion tiled floor. The working fireplace and the exposed beams give a friendly atmosphere. The mix of both eclectic decorative items and antique furniture underlines this impression. The two French windows open on the street and have white net curtains. There is a blue single size sofa bed with matching armchairs, an old TV, a small dining table and an old desk, a rug and three chairs.
The kitchen has yellow painted walls and a tiled floor. It is equipped with two electric burners, an electric oven, a microwave oven, a refrigerator, a coffee maker and a toaster. The cabinets are brown and white. There are all necessary utensils.
The bathroom is completely tiled in white. It is equipped with a tub and a washbasin surmounted by a mirror. There is a white cabinet with drawers under the washbasin and a laundry machine.
This welcoming apartment is perfect to discover the lively streets of this area.
The nearest metro station is Etienne Marcel (Line 7).
