A lovely studio apartment in the heart of Paris
|
Neighborhood :
This apartment is located near the place du Châtelet, between the first and the forth arrondissement in the heart of Paris. This very interesting residential district is close to the Georges Pompidou Cultural Center, also named Beaubourg. It houses one of Paris' best known multi-dimensional museums which includes the National Museum of Modern, the Brancusi Workshop, the Public Information Library, the Southern Gallery, the Children's Workshop as well as other numerous exhibition and entertainment areas.
Close by are many of Paris' well known attractions including the Seine with its lovely islands, the Louvre, and Les Halles mall. Many varieties of cafes and restaurants abound throughout this area, as well as shops and markets.
Premises:
This 16m² studio apartment is located on the second floor (third floor in the USA) of a 19th Century walk-up building. The main entrance door has a coded security system and an intercom. The apartment has an eastern exposure and faces the street.
Layout:
The entrance door opens into a hallway, which leads to the living, an open-kitchen and to the right to the bathroom. In the living room, a staircase goes up to the mezzanine/loft.
The 5m² living room is decorated in an eclectic style. It is furnished with a sofa, an antique style desk, a table and a stereo. The 4 m² mezzanine/loft is furnished with a double size bed and some built-in shelves covered by two curtains.
The open kitchen has a small refrigerator, two electric burners, a coffee maker and a toaster.
The bathroom is equipped with a shower cabin, a washbasin, a toilette and some shelves in a recess.
The nearest metro station is Châtelet (Line 1,7,14,4 - RER A,B,D)
Smoking and pets are both not permitted.
Electric heat and hot water individually metered.
