Neighborhood:
The "Village d'Auteuil", a traditional neighborhood of the very selected 16th district provides a choice of fashion and convenience stores, fine restaurants and cafes. There are also two open air markets in the area. It is at a short metro ride from the best known Parisian monument in the world, the Eiffel tower with its 3 layers totalling a height of 320 meters including the antenna, wich was built for the 1889 world exhibition. On one side it faces the splendid Champ de Mars and beautiful floral gardens, and on the other side, beyond the Seine River, the Trocadero Place where the Palais de Chaillot was built for the International Exhibition of 1937, housing the Cinema Museum, the Marine Museum, and the Human Being Museum, as well as an esplanade offering the most impressive view of the Eiffel Tower.
Premises:
This 38m˛ one bedroom apartment is located on the second floor (third for USA) of a 1927's building. The main entrance gate is protected by a code system. This entrance gate opens onto a flight of stairs, which leads to a second door protected by a code system. This door gives an access to the staircase and to the elevator.
The aparment has glossy hard wood floor.
Layout:
The entrance door opens onto a hall, which leads straight ahead to the living room and on the left are the kitchen and the bathroom. The bedroom is accessible thru the living room.
The 15m˛ living room has hard wood floor and one window overlooking the street. It is furnished with a round dining table with its chairs, an antique style armchair, a sideboard and a console with upon a TV. There is also a decorative fireplace.
The 12m˛ bedroom has hard wood floor and one window overlooking the street. It is furnished with a double size sofa bed, a bedside table, some chairs and built-in shelves.
The kitchen is stylish in a typical Parisian style. It is equipped with two vitro-ceramic burners, a small refrigerator, an oven, a laundry machine and a coffee maker.
The bathroom has a window and is equipped with a bathtub, a washbasin, a bidet and a toilet.
The nearest metro station is Passy (line 6).
Heat is collective. Hot water is electric and individually metered.
