Neighborhood:
This one-bedroom apartment is located in the very popular 6rd Arrondisement, on rue de l'Echaude, between Boulevard Saint Germain and Rue du Seine. It is situated on a narrow street in one of the most attractive and historic areas found in the Left Bank. The Luxembourg Gardens are within walking distance. Saint Germain hosts an impressive number of select restaurants and historic cafes, cinemas, small food stores and it is at the center Paris' most chic fashion shops. The notable open-air market in rue du Buci is a one-minute walk from the apartment.
The Saint Michel metro station (line 4) (RER B) is in walking distance and provides easy access to any part of Paris as well as direct access to the two main airports Charles de Gaulle and Orly.
Premises:
The 42m2 (420 sq. ft.) apartment with 2.20m ceilings is on the 5th floor (6th floor in the USA) of a walk-up building built during the 18th century. It is protected by a coded security system. The rooms all have hardwood floors, and the furniture is modern.
Layout:
The entrance door opens onto an entry hallway with a window facing a courtyard.
The living room (19m2) is furnished with a single sofa bed, a coffee table, a dining table, a sideboard and book shelves and comes with a decorative fireplace. This room is equipped with a cable TV with DVD player and a music system.
There are two French doors leading to a balcony (4m2) that faces east onto a pedestrian street.
The bedroom (10m2) has two windows facing west onto the courtyard. It is furnished with a double bed, a closet, three chairs and a writing desk and comes with a decorative fireplace.
The separated kitchen is fully equipped and has a window facing the entrance hallway. It comes with an electric stove, an oven, a refrigerator with freezer, a washing machine, a water boiler, a toaster and a coffee maker.
The bathroom has white and green tiles and comes with a bathtub with a shower, a washbasin and storage space.
The separate toilet has a window facing into the courtyard.
The closest metro is Mabillon (line 10).
Heat and hot-water are included.
Smoking and pets are not permitted.
