This studio is located in the 1st Arrondisement, on the pedestrians-only rue Pierre Lescot, between rue Etienne Marcel and rue du Cygne, in the very heart of Paris. Les Halles are just around the corner as well as rue Montorgueil, another popular pedestrian street with supermarkets, small food stores. cafes and restaurants. Rue Etienne Marcel, with its fashion shops, is a two-minute walk away. The Marais and the Centre Pompidou (Paris' museum of modern art) are also in close walking distance. The Les Halles metro station offers an easy ride to all parts of the city as well as to the two main airports Charles de Gaulle and Orly and the La Defense, Paris' central business district.
Premises:
The 23m2 (230 sq. ft.) studio with 2.90m ceilings is on the 2nd floor (3rd floor in the USA) of a building built during the 17th century. It has an elevator and is protected by a coded security system and a concierge. This east exposed apartement overlooks the courtyard.
The room has a wall-to-wall carpet and the furniture is eclectic.
Layout:
The entrance door opens directly into living area (18m2), which is furnished with a double sofa bed a sofa, a drum, which serves as a coffee table, a writing desk with two chairs, a dining table with two chairs and a walk-in closet. The window faces the courtyard.
The separate kitchen is fully equipped and has a window facing east onto the courtyard. It comes with an electric stove with an exhaust fan, a microwave, a refrigerator, a washing machine with dryer and a water boiler and is equipped with a music system.
The white-tiled bathroom has a shower, a washbasin and toilet.
The closest metro is Etienne Marcel (line 4).
Heat and hot-water are included.
Smoking and pets are permitted.
