Neighborhood:
In this area also known as Quartier Latin are some of the most famous Universities and High Schools such as Jussieu, La Sorbonne, Lycee Louis le Grand, and Lycee Henri IV. Several parks dot the neighborhood such as the Jardin des Plantes with its nice National Museum of Natural History, and the large, beautiful Jardin du Luxembourg with its magnificent alleys and pool. Nearby is the Pantheon, built as an abbey church in 1750, it was later converted into a secular mausoleum for the great men of France. The apartment is also located near the famous Rue Mouffetard with its traditional French food shop.
Premises:
This 15m² studio apartment is located on the ground floor of an 18th century building. A coded security system and a concierge provide security for the main entrance which opens onto a paved courtyard. The apartment's entrance door faces this courtyard.
Layout:
The entrance door opens directly into the living room with its open-kitchen. The bathroom can be found on the left of the entrance.
The 12.5m² living room has a window, which opens onto the courtyard. It is furnished with a table with chairs, a sofa, a coffee table and a built-in closet. There is also a stereo, a flat screen cable TV and a DVD player. The mezzanine has a double size bed and a built-in closet with a door.
The open kitchen is equipped with two vitro-ceramic burners, a small fridge, a combo grill / microwave oven, a coffee maker and a toaster.
The small bathroom has a shower, a washbasin, a cabinet with a mirror closet mounted on the wall and a toilet.
The apartment has a high-speed Internet connection.
The nearest metro station is Censier-Daubenton (line 7).
Both the heating and hot water systems use electricity and are individually metered.
