Neighborhood: One of the most recognized monuments in the world, the Eiffel Tower was built for the 1889 world exhibition. On one side it faces the splendid Champ de Mars and beautiful floral gardens, and on the other side, beyond the Seine River, is the Trocadero Place with the Palais de Chaillot, which houses the Museum of Film, the Marine Museum, and the Museum of Man, There is also an esplanade offering an impressive view of the Eiffel Tower. This very select district provides choice fashion and conveniences, and other shops, fine restaurants and cafes. Premises: This 50m² (approx. 530 sq. ft.) one-bedroom apartment is located on the fifth floor (sixth in the USA) of a recently constructed building equipped with an elevator. A coded security system and a concierge protect the street's main entrance gate. It opens into a hallway, which leads to the stairs and the elevator. The apartment has an eastern exposure and is decorated in an antique style. Layout: The entrance door opens into the living room area; on the right is a separate toilet and the kitchen. The living room leads to the open dining-studying area; this leads to the bathroom and the bedroom. The 15m² (approx. 160 sq. ft.) living room area has a French window and access to a balcony, which contains a table and two matching chairs and offers a view of the famous monument Les Invalides. The living room is furnished with a single-size sofa bed, a trundle bed, two armchairs, a decorative fireplace, an air conditioner, a phone, a high speed Internet connection, two tables, some lamps, a console with a cable TV, a stereo, a VCR and a DVD player. The 13m² (approx. 135 sq. ft.) dining-studying area has a French window. This area is furnished with a round dining table with three matching chairs, a chest of drawers, a console, a closet, some shelves, and a desk with a lamp and a phone. The 10m² (approx. 100 sq. ft.) bedroom has a French window with a view of the courtyard. It is furnished with a double-size bed, a bedside table with a lamp and an alarm clock, a chair and a built-in closet. The kitchen has a skylight. It is equipped with two electric burners, a refrigerator, an oven, a microwave, a washing machine/dryer combo, a kettle, a coffee maker and a toaster. The bathroom has a tub with showerhead, a washbasin and a chest of drawers. There is also a separate toilet. There is a fan, a vacuum cleaner and an iron with an ironing board. The nearest metro station is Tour Maubourg (L8). Heat and hot water are electric and individually metered.
