One-bedroom apartment in the Eiffel Tower area

Neighborhood:
In this neighborhood are the Eiffel Tower and the splendid Champ de Mars with its beautiful floral gardens; it is also a few steps away from the Seine River. Opposite, beyond the river, Trocadero Place shows the Palais de Chaillot, built for the International Exhibition in 1937; it houses the Cinema Museum, the Marine Museum and the Mankind Museum, as well as an esplanade offering an impressive view of the Eiffel Tower. All sorts of fashion and convenience shops, as well as select restaurants and cafes, are in the area.
Premises:
This 35m˛ (approx. 375 sq. ft.) one-bedroom apartment with a southern exposure is situated on the second floor (third in the USA) of a 19th century walk-up building. A coded security system and a concierge protect the main entrance gate.
Layout:
The entrance door opens into a small hallway. To the left is the bathroom and toilet and straight ahead is the living room. The separate kitchen is off the living room. The bedroom is to the right.
The 15m˛ (approx. 160 sq. ft.) living room has a window overlooking the courtyard. It is furnished with two sofas, a coffee table, a dining table with four chairs, a phone, a stereo and a console with a cable TV and VCR.
The 10m˛ (approx. 105 sq. ft.) bedroom has a window overlooking the courtyard. It is furnished with a double-size bed, an armchair, a table with a chair, some shelves, a built-in closet and a closet containing a vacuum cleaner, an iron and an ironing board.
The separate kitchen has a window overlooking the courtyard. It is equipped with two electric burners, a dishwasher, a refrigerator, a freezer, a combo washer/dryer, a combo microwave/grill oven, and a coffee maker.
The bathroom has a shower, a washbasin, a closet and a toilet.
Heat and hot water are both electric and individually metered.
The nearest metro station is Président Kennedy (RER C).
