Studio apartment near Montparnasse area

Neighborhood:
Not very far from the interesting Park Georges Brassens and its antique book market, this traditional residential and commercial district of Paris is close to the wide Parc des Expositions de la Porte de Versailles. Every two weeks there is a new fair there. For instance, the Foire de Paris, an agriculture exhibition, is the biggest and most famous in France. It is also not far from the Paris Heliport, and to the Aquaboulevard, a very large spa. The main monuments and points of interest are a short distance away by metro. This apartment is also situated near the Montparnasse area, where there are a lot of shops, restaurants, cinemas and a huge shopping center, just under the highest skyscraper of Tour Montparnasse. Within a 10-minute walk are the very famous Theatre de la Gaite Montparnasse, Théâtre Bobino, or Théâtre Montparnasse.
Premises:
This 38m² (approx. 405 sq. ft.) studio apartment is located on the fourth and last floor of a 1940s walk-up building. The main entrance gate is protected by a coded security system and an intercom.
Layout:
The entrance door opens into a small corridor; the bathroom is straight ahead and to the left is the living room and the open kitchen. A staircase in the living room goes up to the bedroom mezzanine.
The 24m² (approx. 250 sq. ft.) living room has two double glass windows. One of them overlooks the street (northwest exposure) and the other overlooks the courtyard (southeastern exposure). It is furnished with a sofa, a TV with a DVD player, and a built-in closet. Internet connection (DSL) is available.
The dining area is furnished with a table, two chairs, and a bar containing the dishes and the cooking appliances. Behind this bar are a small refrigerator and a microwave oven.
The kitchen space is in a recess. It has a window and is equipped with two vitro-ceramic burners, an electric oven and a washing machine.
The 10m² (approx. 105 sq. ft.) bedroom area in the mezzanine has a skylight. It is furnished with a double-size bed and a small chest of drawers. There is also a storage place hidden by curtains.
The tiled bathroom has a shower cabin, a washbasin and a toilet.
The apartment has an iron, an ironing board and a vacuum cleaner.
The nearest metro station is Plaisance (line 13).
Heat and hot water are both collective.
