Neighborhood: This two-bedroom apartment is located in the 6th Arrondissement, on rue des Mezieres, between rue Madame and rue Cassette. Rue des Meziere is an exclusive, calm street in the very high-demand Saint-Germain-des-Près area, more precisely the Saint-Sulpice neighborhood. Once this area was home to bohemians, artists and intellectuals. Today several boutiques, art galleries and restaurants are located in Saint-Germain. It is the Parisian core of the latest and most chic fashion shops and one of the most attractive and historic districts of the Seine River's Left Bank. There are a number of select restaurants and historical cafes here such as Les Deux Magots and Café de Flore, favorite haunts of famous French existentialists and expatriated American literatary figures back in the day. The apartment is just a few steps away from rue Bonaparte, with elegant fashion shops, as well as rue de Buci, which features a lively atmosphere and an open-air market. The Luxembourg Garden with its beautiful Palais and Gardens is just around the corner and very popular with families, tourists and students. Rue de Rennes is very commercial and just around the corner. Boulevard Saint-Germain is only a five-minute walk away with its bookshops, fashion boutiques, restaurants and cafes. The Saint-Sulpice metro station (line 4) is around two minutes walking distance and provides an easy ride to other parts of the city and to the Saint Michel metro station (line 4, RER B), which gives direct access to the Charles de Gaulle and Orly airports. The 12m2 (approx. 125 sq. ft.) master bedroom is connected to the dining room by a short hallway with a window that faces south into the courtyard and some rooftops. It comes with its own 2m2 (approx. 20 sq. ft.) bathroom with a shower and a washbasin. This bedroom is furnished with a double bed, a night table, a chair, bookshelves above the bed and a Japanese-style closet. This room is also equipped with a music system. The 11.5m2 (approx. 120 sq. ft.) second bedroom has a window facing east onto the Saint Sulpice church and the Pantheon and is connected to the terrace. It is furnished with a double bed, a chest of drawers, a writing desk with a chair and bookshelves. The 8m2 (approx. 85 sq. ft.) kitchen is separate. It is fully equipped and has a window facing west into the courtyard with an open view of rooftops. It has a table with four stools and comes with a gas stove with an exhaust fan, an oven, a microwave, a refrigerator/freezer, a dishwasher, a washing machine with a dryer, an electric kettle, a toaster and a coffee maker. The dining room is furnished with a dining table with six chairs, a sideboard, two cupboards and has wooden stairs leading to a room that is not for rent. The window has an open view and faces east onto the courtyard. The 6m2 (approx. 60 sq. ft.) bathroom has a bathtub with a shower, a washbasin, a washing machine, a dryer, storage space and a window to the kitchen. The 1m2 (approx. 10 sq. ft.) toilet with a window is separate. The closest metro is Saint Sulpice (line 4), Sèvres Babylone (line 10, 12) and many Buses (39, 63, 83, 84, 86, 87, 95). Electricity, gas heat and hot water are individually metered.
