Modern one-bedroom apartment just steps from the royal Place des Vosges

Neighborhood: A historical area, the Marais has a lively atmosphere due to its pre-Revolution architecture and a substantial number of points of interest such as museums, art galleries, design shops, and diverse bars and restaurants. Also in this area is the royal Place des Vosges, hailed for the harmony of its architecture and the place where world famous French novelist Victor Hugo lived. It takes just a few minutes to get to the to the Louvre and the Jardin des Tuileries from the apartment. Premises: This 60m² (approx. 645 sq. ft.) one-bedroom apartment is located on the first floor (second in the USA) of a 1970s building. It is, in fact, the center of a recently added residence, which mixes a "hotel particulier" dating back from the 18th century and a modern complex. The main entrance gate is protected by a coded security system at night. This door opens into a paved courtyard, which faces the authentic 18th century style façade. From here, a door leads to the pre-revolutionary hall with a wonderful painted ceiling. This leads to the recently built complex protected by a full-time concierge and, after crossing corridors and gardens, to the elevator. There is a second quicker entrance to the complex. The apartment is northeast exposed and faces a flourished paved courtyard. It has a tiled floor and a wireless Internet connection. The 25m² (approx. 265 sq. ft.) living room has three double-glazed windows with rolling shutters overlooking the courtyard and private terrace. The living room area is accessible via a flight of steps and is furnished with a double-size sofa bed. The dining area is furnished with a dining table with chairs. A glass door gives access to the private 60m² (approx. 640 sq. ft.) terrace with a small garden area. The open kitchen is separated from the living room by a bar with stools. It has four vitro-ceramic plates topped by a cooker hood, an electric oven, a microwave oven, a refrigerator/freezer, a toaster, a kettle, a dishwasher and a coffee maker (combo traditional/espresso). The 12m² (approx. 130 sq. ft.) bedroom has a double-glazed window. It is furnished with a double-size bed, bedside tables, a desk, a closet and a console with a cable TV and a combo VCR/DVD player. The tiled bathroom is equipped with a washbasin, an electric towel-drying rack, a washing machine and a balneo-bathtub (Jacuzzi). The toilet is separate. The entrance hallway has large built-in closets and a mobile air conditioner is available. The nearest metro station is Saint Paul (line 1). Heat is electric. Hot water is collective with the building.
