Studio apartment on the pedestrian rue Montorgueil

Neighborhood:
This apartment is located on a pedestrian, residential and commercial street, rue Montorgueil. It is one of the most colorful places in Paris with many traditional shops such as bakeries, butchers, a fishmonger, and an array of restaurants and cafes. In less than five minutes walking distance is the St. Eustache Church, leading to the modernistic Forum de Halles and its lovely garden. All roads around Les Halles lead to the Beaubourg area and the Pompidou Centre, an avant-garde structure and one of Paris' most visible buildings. There are all sorts of essential shops and services in the neighborhood.
Premises:
This 25m² (approx. 265 sq. ft.) studio apartment is located on the third floor of a 1900s building. The main entrance gate is protected by a coded security system. This leads to a long corridor, a courtyard, and then a staircase leading to the ground floor of the building. From there a second narrow corridor leads to a second staircase and the studio is three floors from there. The entrance door opens directly into the living room and the open kitchen is to the left. The studio has exposed ceiling beams.
The 15m² (approx. 160 sq. ft.) living room has a window with modern curtains and a northern exposure overlooking a courtyard. It is furnished with a sofa bed, a coffee table, a small console, a large mirror, a modern style painting, and a mezzanine bed (double-size bed) with some built-in shelves. There is also a TV and a phone.
The open kitchen is separated from the living room by a bar with four stools. There is a window with a southern exposure overlooking a courtyard. It is furnished with a refrigerator, a combo grill/microwave oven, two electric plates topped by a cooker hood, a kettle, a toaster and a washing machine.
The separate bathroom has a bathtub, a washbasin and a toilette.
Heat and hot water are individual and electric.
The nearest metro stations are Sentier (line 3), Etienne Marcel (line 4) and Les Halles (RER A,B,D and line 4).
