One-bedroom apartment in the heart of St. Germain des Près

Neighborhood:
Situated between Boulevard St. Germain and Quai des Grands Augustins, this furnished apartment is ideally located in the Odeon area of Paris only a few meters from the Seine River and very close to the Louvre and its select neighborhood. The area around the accommodation is known for its elegant, trendy streets and for its many stylish fashion shops, mall, antique shops, art galleries, and sophisticated and traditional restaurants and cafes. Also, in the neighborhood are quality services such as fine bakeries, select supermarkets, and the well-known daily Buci open air market.
Premises:
This 46m² (approx. 495 sq. ft.) cozy one-bedroom apartment is on the second floor of an elevator 1900s building. The main entrance gate is protected at night by a coded security system. This opens into a corridor leading to a paved courtyard with a nice art gallery. From there, a glass door with an intercom opens into the staircase and elevator.
The apartment entrance opens into a hall with a built-in closet; the living room is straight ahead.
The 25m² (approx. 265 sq. ft.) double living room with its Versailles-style parquet floor has two double-glazed windows with curtains; they overlook the courtyard with a northern exposure. The room is divided into two parts. The first one is the dining area furnished with a round dining table and chairs. It leads to the open kitchen hidden behind a bar; it has three vitro-ceramic plates topped by a cooker hood, an electric oven, a microwave oven, a refrigerator, a freezer, a coffee maker, a dishwasher, a toaster and an electric kettle. The second part of the living room is furnished with a sofa, armchairs, and a sideboard.
From the living room, a door opens to a flight of steps that goes down to the bedroom and the bathroom.
The 12m² (approx. 125 sq. ft.) bedroom has wall-to-wall carpeting and is furnished with a double-size bed, a chest of drawers, built-in shelves, a piano and a console with a small cable TV. It has a double-glazed window, north exposed, that opens to the courtyard.
The bathroom has a parquet floor and contains a shower, a washbasin, a toilette, an electric towel-drying rack and a combo washer/dryer.
Heat and hot water are electric and individually metered.
The nearest metro stations are Mabillon (line 10) and St. Germain (line 4).
