Neighborhood: This furnished apartment is on a busy street in the heart of the Marais area of Paris, a historic district offering diverse shops, a number of select, international, and basic restaurants, and pleasant cafes. Just a few steps away from this accommodation is the charming, royal Place des Vosges, known for its art galleries and for the house of the famous French novelist Victor Hugo (Les Miserables), where he lived from 1832 to 1848. A little bit farther away is Place de la Bastille, a symbol of the French Republic and an important point of interest. All kinds of conveniences are available in the neighborhood. Premises: This 70m² (approx. 750 sq. ft.) two-bedroom apartment is located on the third floor of a building with an elevator. The main entrance gate, protected by a coded security system, opens into a hall. From there, a door with an intercom leads to another hall with the elevator and the staircase. The apartment entrance opens into a corridor with a built-in closet leading to the separate toilette, the bathroom and finally, straight ahead, to the living room and its bedroom section. The bedroom and the kitchen are both accessible from the living room. The 18m² (approx. 190 sq. ft.) living room has a double-glazed window overlooking the courtyard with a western exposure, and a French door with access to a small terrace, also overlooking the courtyard with a southern exposure. It is furnished with a square dining table with chairs, shelves, an architect's desk and a console with a cable TV. From the living room, a double door accesses the 8m² (approx. 85 sq. ft.) guest bedroom, which is furnished with a double-size sofa bed, two armchairs, a coffee table and a cabinet. It also has a double-glazed window overlooking the courtyard. The 11m² (approx. 115 sq. ft.) master bedroom has a French door with access to the balcony as well as a skylight. It is furnished with a double-size bed, two bedside tables, a chest of drawers and a small TV. The separate kitchen has a window and is equipped with four vitro-ceramic burners topped by a cooker hood, an oven, a microwave oven, a refrigerator, a freezer, an Italian-style coffee maker, a kettle, a toaster and a washing machine. The tiled bathroom has a tub, a bidet and a washbasin. The separate toilette is located next to the entrance door. Heat and hot water are electric. The nearest metro station is St. Paul (line 1).
