Neighborhood: This furnished one-bedroom apartment is located on Rue Lepic in the Montmartre section of Paris. The district of Montmartre and art are inseparable. At the end of the 19th century, this area was a mecca for artists, writers and poets. It maintains its physical charm and the village atmosphere remains remarkably intact. There are spectacular views of the city from various points, especially from the monumental Sacre-Coeur Basilica. One of Paris' most picturesque squares is the Place des Abbesses with its original Art Nouveau metro station. High speed internet access is available. The 11m² (approx. 115 sq. ft.) bedroom has a double-glazed window with southern exposure overlooking a courtyard. It is furnished with a double-size bed, two bedside tables, a modern-style stool and a large closet. It also has an open bathroom with a shower and a washbasin. The separate kitchen has a window overlooking a courtyard and a dining area with a glass table and chairs as well as a closet. This 14m² (approx. 150 sq. ft.) is equipped with four vitro ceramic plates topped by a cooker hood, a combo microwave/oven, a refrigerator/freezer, a dishwasher, a coffee maker, a kettle and a toaster. There is a separate toilette. Heat and hot water are both gas.
