This furnished loft is located on the end of an alley bordering the tree-lined Canal Saint Martin, situated between rue du Faubourg du Temple and rue Allibert. A cosmopolitan and dynamic area of Paris providing diverse sorts of shops, restaurants and cafes, it neighbors Republic Place. The delightful Saint Martin Channel, bordered by trees and dotted with little bridges, is an idyllic local landscape and one of Parisians' favorite areas to live. The canal has become very trendy over the years and is as fashionable now as the Marais and the Bastille neighborhoods. The scenic cycling tracks from Bastille to the Villette district are in close proximity to this accommodation.
Premises:
This 150m² (approx. 1,610 sq. ft.) loft is located on the ground floor of an ancient factory built at the end of the 19th century. The entrance gate, protected by a coded security system, opens into an alley that leads to the factory. There, a door with a coded security system opens into a hall leading to the loft.
The apartment entrance opens into the main room and the open kitchen and a corridor leads to the separate toilette. The bathroom and the two bedrooms are on the mezzanine. Both mezzanines have bay windows that provide light throughout the loft.
The 70m² (approx. 780 sq. ft.) main room is divided into two parts. The first is the living area, which has two double-size sofas, three armchairs, a coffee table, a closet, a chest of drawers, and a large bookshelf. There is also a stereo system and a real home cinema system. The second part of the room is the office area with a desk and chair, some bookshelves and a chest of drawers.
The open kitchen is equipped with four gas burners topped by a cooker hood, a refrigerator, a freezer, an oven, a microwave, a coffee maker, a toaster and a kettle. There is also a dishwasher, a washing machine and a dryer. A large wooden dining table separates the open kitchen from the living area.
A small corridor with built-in closets leads to the separate toilettes.
A first staircase leads to the first 25m² (approx. 265 sq. ft.) mezzanine, which has a bay window with eastern exposure. It is divided into three parts. The first part is the office area, which is furnished with a desk and chairs. The second part is the bedroom area, which is furnished with a double-size bed on the floor, bedside tables, two chests of drawers and some built-in closets. The third part is the open bathroom, which is separated from the rest of the loft by curtains. It has a large bathtub topped by a showerhead, a washbasin and many plants.
A second staircase leads to the second 25m² (approx. 265 sq. ft.) mezzanine, which has a bay window with western exposure overlooking a courtyard. It is furnished with a double-size bed on the floor, some chests of drawers and a washbasin.
Heat and hot water are gas. There is air conditioning throughout the loft.
For convenient travel around Paris, the nearest metro station is République (line 3,5,8,9,11).
