This apartment is near the open market, Marché d'Aligre, and not far from the historic Place de la Bastille where the Opera de Paris, considered one of the best in the world, is located. It was inaugurated for the 200th anniversary of the French Revolution. Within walking distance is the royal Place des Vosges, the city's oldest and most beautiful square, where many historic personalities have lived. Built by Henri IV, its perfect symmetry and verticality are fine examples of classic French architecture. There are many choices of restaurants, cafes, and other sorts of shops and essential services in the neighborhood.
Premises:
This 25m² (approx. 265 sq. ft.) loft apartment is located on the sixth and last floor of a 1930s walk-up building. The main entrance gate is protected by a coded system and opens into a paved corridor. From there, a second door, also with a coded system, gives access to the building and the staircase.
The apartment entrance opens directly into the 23m² (approx. 245 sq. ft.) main room, which has a large bay window with blinds overlooking a courtyard and offering a nice view of Paris rooftops with southern exposure. This room has a parquet floor and is decorated in a contemporary style. It is furnished with a double-size sofa bed, a coffee table, a dining table with chairs and a console with a phone, a TV and a DVD player. There is an Internet connection via a high-speed DSL (a wireless connection is also available).
Separated by a bar, the open kitchen is equipped with two electric burners, a combo microwave/grill oven, a small refrigerator, a kettle, a coffee maker, a toaster and a washing machine.
Located behind the kitchen space and enclosed by a plastic folding door, the tiny tiled bathroom contains a shower, a washbasin and a toilette. There is also a double-glazed window.
The apartment is equipped with a vacuum, an iron, an ironing board and a fan.
Heat and hot water are electric and individually metered.
The nearest metro station is Faidherbe-Chaligny (line 8).

I just want to tell you that the apartment is great. It is newly painted and everything looks very new. As well my bed is new. And the owner is very friendly and helpful. I'm really glad, that I did choose this apartment |
