This furnished one-bedroom apartment is situated on Rue Du Champ de Mars between Avenue de la Bourdonnais and Avenue Bosquet. Everything in the area of Invalides is on a monumental scale, starting from the sprawling 18th century buildings of the Ecole Militaire and the Parc du Champs de Mars stretching down to the Eiffel Tower and the Seine. The avenues around the Tower are lined with luxurious buildings, some in the Art Nouveaux style, and numerous embassies. The Eiffel Tower, originally built to impress visitors to the Universal Exhibition of 1889, was meant to be temporary and now is the symbol of Paris. There are all sorts of shops near this accommodation, including the colorful and exclusive street market on Rue Cler.
Premises:
This 60m˛ (approx. 645 sq. ft.) one-bedroom apartment is located on the first floor of a 1930s building with an elevator. A concierge and an intercom protect the entrance gate. The gate opens into a long corridor leading to the staircase and the elevator.
The apartment entrance opens into a hall that links the open kitchen and the living room. The separate toilette and the bedroom with its private bathroom are accessible from the living room.
The 25m˛ (approx. 265 sq. ft.) living room, which has a window with southern exposure overlooking a courtyard, has high ceilings and is bright and quiet. It is furnished with a queen-size sofa bed, two modern-style armchairs, a coffee table, and a large bookshelf with a flat screen TV, a DVD player and a stereo.
The 20m˛ (approx. 215 sq. ft.) bedroom has a window with southern exposure overlooking a courtyard. It is furnished with a queen-size bed, a bedside table, a chest of drawers and a built-in closet. This room has a private bathroom with a bathtub, a washbasin and a window overlooking a courtyard.
There is also a separate toilette.
The kitchen has a window overlooking a courtyard and is equipped with four vitro ceramic plates topped by a cooker hood, a refrigerator, a freezer, a combo oven/microwave, a dishwasher, a coffee maker, a kettle and a toaster.
There is also a combo washer/dryer.
For convenient travel around Paris, the nearest metro station is Ecole Militaire (line 8) and Pont de l'Alma (RER C).
