This furnished apartment is situated on Rue de l'Odeon between Place de L'Odeon and Carrefour de L'Odeon. It is situated in the historical district of Saint Germain des Pres, known for its elegant, trendy streets, many stylish fashion shops, antique shops, art galleries, sophisticated and traditional restaurants, pubs and cinemas. After World War II, St. Germain-des-Pres became synonymous with intellectual life centered around bars and cafes. This accommodation is within short walking distance to the Seine River and the delightful Ile Saint Louis and not far from Luxembourg Gardens. There are all sorts of essential shops and services in the neighborhood, such as the lively market situated on Rue de Buci.
Premises:
This 50m² (approx 540 sq ft) one-bedroom apartment is located on the first floor of a 19th century building with an elevator. The entrance gate, protected by a coded security system, opens into a hall leading to a courtyard; then a gate opens into a staircase and elevator area.
The apartment entrance opens into a small hall linking the living room, the open kitchen, the bedroom and its private bathroom, and the separate toilette.
The 25m² (approx. 265 sq. ft.) living room has two windows with western exposure overlooking the street. It is furnished with a double-size sofa, a coffee table, a chest of drawers, a console with a TV, a DVD player and a stereo, some closets, and a dining table with chairs.
The living room has an open kitchen, which is equipped with five gas burners topped by a cooker hood, a combo refrigerator/freezer, an oven, a microwave, a coffee maker, a kettle and a toaster. There is also a dishwasher and a washing machine.
The 15m² (approx. 160 sq. ft.) bedroom has a window with eastern exposure overlooking a courtyard. It is furnished with a double-size bed, a bedside table, a closet, bookshelves and a console with a TV and a VCR.
This bedroom has a private open bathroom, which has a window, a bathtub topped by a showerhead and a washbasin.
There is also a separate toilette.
Smokers are welcomed.
The apartment has 2.10m high ceilings with exposed beams.
Heat and hot water are both electric.
For convenient travel around Paris, the nearest metro station is Odéon (line 4,10).
