This furnished apartment is situated in the Saint Germain de Près district of Paris, between rue de l'Université and Boulevard Saint Germain. One of the most attractive and historic districts of the Seine River's Left Bank, the high-demand Saint Germain des Près is the Parisian core of the latest and most chic fashion shops. There are a number of select restaurants and historic cafes such as Les Deux Magots and Café de Flore, favorite haunts of famous French existentialists and expatriated American literary figures back in the day. Just beside the new Marché Saint Germain (fashion market), the Rue de Buci features a special atmosphere and open-air market.
Located near Boulevard Raspail and Boulevard Saint Germain, this accommodation is in the Seventh Arrondissement surrounded by art galleries, not very far from the Montparnasse area, and a few steps away from Sévres-Babylone where there are shops, restaurants, cafes and shopping centers.
Premises:
This 53m² (approx. 570 sq. ft.) one-bedroom apartment is located on the ground floor of a 19th century building. The main entrance gate is protected by a coded system at night and a full-time concierge. This gate opens into a nice corridor leading to a courtyard. From there, steps lead to a hall and the apartment door.
The apartment has a parquet floor, high ceilings (3.20m - 10.50 ft) and decorative fireplaces. The entrance door opens into a hall that links all the rooms and has large built-in closets.
The 22m² (approx. 235 sq. ft.) living room has a large window with curtains and exterior iron shutters that face the street. It is furnished with a comfortable double-size sofa bed, an armchair, a wood dining table with chairs, bookcases and a desk. This room is also equipped with a phone and has a high-speed Internet connection (a wireless connection is also available).
The 18m² (approx. 190 sq. ft.) bedroom has a window facing the street with curtains and exterior iron shutters. It is furnished with a double-size bed, a folding guest single-size bed, cabinets and a desk. One of the cabinets contains a cable TV and VCR.
The separate kitchen has two windows and is equipped with four gas burners topped by a cooker hood, an oven, a microwave, a refrigerator, a freezer, a dishwasher, a coffee maker and a toaster.
The narrow bathroom contains a bathtub with a showerhead, a washbasin, a toilette, an electric towel-drying rack, a washing machine and a dryer.
The apartment is also equipped with a vacuum, an iron, an ironing board and a hair dryer.
Heat and hot water use gas and are individual.
The nearest metro station is Rue du Bac (line 12).
